Dr. Wade M Phillips:

Dr. Phillips was born and raised in Citrus County and graduated from Lecanto High School in 1993.  He attended The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctorate in  2003.  His veterinary career began in Lake Wales, Florida before moving back to Citrus County in 2006.  Dr. Phillips opened Lecanto Veterinary Hospital in July of 2010 where he now provides services for large and small animals in Citrus County. Dr. Phillips has a special interest in surgery including orthopedics. 
In his free time Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.  He also enjoys boating, fishing, softball, and golf.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Jason DeLaPaz: 

Dr DeLaPaz graduated from Lecanto High School in 1996. After this time he attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2000. After graduation, he took a position for ABS Global as a reproductive specialist. In this role he worked predominately with large dairy and beef farms. He later returned to the University of Florida where he received a Master's degree in 2008 and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr DeLaPaz joined Lecanto Veterinary Hospital in June 2012.  Dr DeLaPaz is married to his wife Amy (Kane) DeLaPaz . Together they have two children, a son and daughter. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, softball, and tennis.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Seth Jenkins

Dr. Jenkins is a native of Dunnellon, Florida.  After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Master's in Agribusiness, he attended veterinary school at Mississippi State University.  His career began in Dunnellon shortly after graduation in May 2014.  Dr. Jenkins joined the staff at Lecanto Veterinary Hospital in March 2015.  In his spare time, Dr. Jenkins enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, watching college sports, and spending time with family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Josue Padilla

Dr. Josue Padilla was born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico. In 2013, Dr. Padilla graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Animal Sciences. Upon graduation, he attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished his clinical year at his alma mater in 2017. His interests within veterinary medicine include preventative medicine and elective surgery. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife Paige, his dogs, Bacardi and Bodhi, and he also enjoys hunting and fishing.
